Arizona

Nick  in the Mesa Studio working on a Garage Band song that he wrote.  He has been taking lessons for over three years has created many songs.  Nick is a dedicated player and meticulous in his performances.  He is currently looking to form a band and is way overdue.

Jake in Mesa has worked on songs from Led Zeppelin to Lincoln Park.  He has a band  and is a very dedicated musician.  He has recorded many songs on GarageBand in the studio.  Jake has been working with Matt for over four years.   

   Mike is a shop teacher by day and dedicated

Jordan has been taking lessons for over three years he has worked on songs from Nirvanna to blink183 also he is in a band with his brother.  Check out Jordan's Band...Standing Unseen.

Kyle in Fountain Hills can obviously  groove and smile at the same time. 

Ken is a dedicated Drummer who drives truck by day and drums by night.   Matt  has been working with Ken for over two years.  While Matt plays Bass guitar Ken does a great  job locking in with the bass drum.

Skyler just nailed a very intricate sixteenth note bass drum idea from the book.    

Christian in Fountain Hills  is playing Quarter Note High Hats with eighth note bass drums and doing a great  job.   He started with Matt about two months ago. 

Coner in Fountain Hills started lessons one month ago.  Conor is very excited about playing drums and he is  progressing very fast .  He is the proud owner of a Yoki electronic drum set. 

Norma is a great student with amazing

technique and a beautiful smile!  She

enjoys playing to Glen Miller and other Big

Bands. 

 
Tim  has been taking lessons for over  four

years.   He is a multi-instrumentalist playing

Piano, Trumpet , Drums and Percussion. 

He has been active in school with 

Marching Band, Orchestra and Jazz band.

Tim has worked hard on many Drumming

styles,  most recently,  he has  become very

proficient with Jazz and Brush Techniques. 

But,  if he needs to rock he can certainly 

handle it.

 Max has been with Matt for over three

years.  He has written and recorded over

twenty songs on GarageBand during his

lessons.  He recently performed for his

school and knocked them out.   

Dylan working on a Senses Fail song with

very intricate double bass patterns and

slammin!  He has been taking lessons over

three years and has recorded several

songs on GarageBand.  Dylan is currently

look for musicians to form a band and he is 

ready.

Leah in Mesa Studio working on Little

Drummer Boy for a Church performance.

Devin just had his drum set tricked out with 

Roto Toms, Cymbals and a double bass

pedal. He is already playing great rhythms

with the double pedal.  Devin has been

with Matt for over two years and is very

dedicated drummer.  He has recorded on

GarageBand and is in the process of

forming a band.   They will obviously sound

great with his solid playing.

Max has been taking lessons for a year.  He

is working hard on playing out of the book

and on several Bon Jovi songs.  He can

really lock in a groove while Matt plays bass

guitar.

Alex started two months ago and is doing

great!  He is hearing grooves and reading

very well. 

 Keenan has been taking lessons for two

years.  He has a natural gift for picking out

drum patterns in songs and playing them

right away.  He has recorded many songs

on GarageBand and cracks a good joke

here and there.

Luke has been taking lessons for over two

years.   Luke is a multi-instrumentalist and

has recorded several songs on

GarageBand. He has recently been working

on his jazz swing grooves, and has

performed with his school band.
